![]() ![]() Posted by khaver - 11 Jun :28 I don't think there's any workaround short of Editshare paying SafeNet for a licensing system that can identify unique VM fingerprints (SafeNet does have an option for this) but for Editshare to pay extra for a licensing service for a user to run a professional NLE in a virtual environment doesn't make sense. I hope there is some workaround for this issue. Posted by Greg_E - 11 Jun :18 That is a valid reason to blocking virtual machines, but it just cut all the Mac users off because many (most?) of them were running the beta in a VM, same for the Linux users. Make sure you uninstall LW from the physical machine. What you might be able to do is install LW on a physical machine, lisence it, then do a P2V conversion. The reason is, if you could use it in a VM, you could just make multiple copies of your VM and give them to any number of other people to use the software. sorry i'm not understand nothing what you said about.? 1 / 5Ģ what i doing for lws on my Virtualbox to use try woth lws.? Posted by khaver - 11 Jun :40 The licensing system does not allow you to use the software in a VM. If it were to allow it you could just make clones of the VM and run the software in multiple VMs. Posted by tunjin - 11 Jun :28 khaver wrote: The HASP software protection does not allow running the software it's protecting to run under a VM.
